The size of the bracelet also depends on the number of charms it has. The more the charms, the tighter the bracelet. An average bracelet can house somewhere between 15-20 charms.
If you like to your bracelet loosely hanging on your wrist, you may want to select a size above your bracelet size.
Note: Newly purchased bracelets are often tight around the wrist, but they will eventually stretch and loosen up as you wear them regularly.
